Yellow Broom value sustainability and aim to create products with a zero waste approach to production.
Materials from our off cuts through to bends that have snapped and experiments that have not succeeded are carefully collected and reused.
Annually we present ourselves with the challenge of re designing our waste stream to create a unique one off product range from what otherwise would be discarded.
Addressing repurposing , placing value upon and integrating materials surplus to and left over from the construction industry and our fellow makers we support and work towards a circular approach to making from concept right through to the continual & after life of your product .
The shavings from the turning process carefully protect our products in transit omitting the use of plastic packing whist unusable wood and sawdust provide the workshop with heat over the long harsh Highland winters.
